About me

 I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Konstanz in the lab of Jens Pruessner. My research focuses on the psychophysiological processes of stress and relaxation. The central question is how these reactions change in connection with risk factors such as early life adversity or mental disorders, and to what extent relaxation interventions in particular can contribute to promoting resilience.

In parallel with my work as a researcher, I am training to become a cognitive behavioural psychotherapist. I am particularly interested in integrating scientific research with clinical practice to deepen our understanding of mental disorders and to enhance treatment outcomes, for example, through the use of innovative interventions such as virtual reality.
